Yesterday, I did it again... I went back to the Palais de Congrès de Montréal with Valérie Adam to visit the National Home Show.

We walked for about 9 hours. We managed to eat dinner past 10 p.m. in the Faraday cage of my car and got home late.

After paying, we ran into someone from the Show organizers who clearly didn't understand what she was seeing (I'll spare you the story for now), and then we went on our tour.

Of all the visits to this Show I've made since it's been around, this one was certainly and by far the most memorable, the most touching, friendly, warm, and special. It was simply incredible.

I estimate we must have spoken to about 350 people, maybe more; it's hard to say. People were curious, open, positive, kind, warm, pleasant, impressed, fascinated, surprised, and happy to have met them.

Several people wanted a photo with us.

We had fun!

To think we went there just to visit the Salon like everyone else... oh my...

And when I think back... I can't believe this is my life today. An unusual paradox of extreme solitude in private and extraordinary attraction in public, disappointing hostility from some close friends and overwhelming sympathy from strangers, severe and serious exclusion from society and the near privilege of being able to live a totally unique and incomparable experience.

I never imagined I would experience this one day. As if reality surpassed fiction. A mix of happiness and unhappiness, tragedy and hope.

Among the exhibitors, one of them had known the late Linda Bernard. It was an emotional and touching encounter.

We met many kind-hearted, valuable people.

And then we found hope, tips, and solutions.

I am very grateful for all of this.
