Today, Saturday, I visited the Adventure and Outdoors Show alone at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal. What a difference! Instead of being questioned by +/- 350 people, this time it was +/- 35 people. Being alone changes the dynamic enormously.
Unlike the RV Show and the Home Show, the Outdoors Show had a clientele who seemed to have heard more about EHS. There were fewer people who were extremely surprised.
People were still very kind, polite, and courteous, and the beekeeper joke was rare. At other shows, we were probably asked 30 times if we hunted bees, but this time, two made a reference to bees and one to mosquitoes. Hahaha! Maybe the outdoors had something to do with it.
I met two people who had hosted moon children caving (French tourists). They understood the parallel with my situation on their own.
Those who were able to offer vacations without a signal or Wi-Fi were happy and excited with me. It was cool! Many people agreed that the situation was not right with the waves, and some wanted to get involved themselves to change something. It's nice! It seems like we're in a world of people more focused on initiative and action. All positive people! I really appreciated it!
In short, all is not lost in Quebec for now. There are still a few rare places to go... it's better than nothing.
No incidents, zero crazy people, 100% pleasant and positive interactions.
As for photos, I took fewer. Alone, it was less interesting, as my arms were a bit short to take any kind of photo other than the banal selfie.
For dinner, it was the first time that my Faraday cage was not up to my needs. I had peaks at 300μW/m² but it was stable in the yellow. Outside: 1,300,000μW/m²!!!
